With 29 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Glenn Yowell brings a lifetime of passion and dedication to his practice. Growing up in a dental household, he saw firsthand the meaningful impact his father made in patients’ lives — an experience that inspired his own path in dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Yowell enjoys spending time with his children whenever they’re home, golfing, scuba diving, and relaxing on a beach somewhere warm. If he’s in charge of the playlist, expect a mix of Kenny Chesney and some classic rock favorites.
Andrew Yowell
Doctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. Andrew Yowell, son of Dr. Glenn and a third-generation dentist, grew up with a deep appreciation for the positive and immediate impact dentistry can have on people's lives. Andrew was drawn to the profession for its unique combination of science and art, and the opportunity to make meaningful change every day.
Outside the office, Andrew is all about the outdoors — whether it’s biking, fishing, camping, hiking, or catching live music with friends. If he’s got the aux cord, expect some smooth Frank Sinatra to set the tone.
Stacy
Office Manager
Though her degree opened up many career paths, Stacy feels lucky to have found her home in this dental office right after college — and she hasn’t looked back since, with over 25 years at Iowa City Dental Health. She loves the fast pace of the office, getting to know patients, and being part of a team that truly cares about the people it serves.
When she’s not at work, you’ll find her with her husband, Matt, and their two boys, Cole and Cade — whether it’s cheering them on in sports or spending time together at their land on the Cedar River or out on the boat. Stacy’s music taste covers just about everything, but if she has to pick one favorite, it’s Goodbye Earl.
Finn Duffy
Doctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. Finn Duffy is passionate about staying on the cutting edge of dentistry, always exploring new technologies and techniques to enhance patient care. For him, there’s nothing more rewarding than helping people feel more confident and improving their quality of life.
Outside the office, Finn enjoys reading, playing soccer, and spending time with family. And if he’s got the aux cord, you might hear the iconic sounds of Pink Floyd’s Time playing in the background.
Mary
Registered Dental Hygienist
Mary, a registered Dental Hygienist, finds fulfillment in helping patients understand and improve their oral health. She enjoys building relationships with patients and empowering them with the knowledge they need to take charge of their dental care for over 30 years at Iowa City Dental Health.
Outside of work, Mary cherishes time with her husband, family, and especially her grandchildren. She’s an avid reader with a love for all kinds of books. If she's in control of the playlist, you'll likely hear something country!
Heather
Registered Dental Assistant
Heather, Stacy’s sister and dental assisting Kirkwood graduate, has been with Iowa City Dental Health for over 28 years. With decades of experience, she’s passionate about helping patients overcome dental anxiety and feel at ease during their visits. For Heather, there's nothing more rewarding than seeing patients become comfortable with their care.
Outside of work, Heather is the proud grandmother of three beautiful granddaughters, with the oldest just two years old. They are the light of her life, and family has always been her top priority.
When it comes to music, Heather’s playlist is a true mix-tape — from country to classic rock to oldies, she loves it all. And if you’re lucky, you might catch her singing along to her favorites!
Bailey
Registered Dental Hygienist
Bailey is passionate about helping people feel confident in their smiles while making a lasting impact on their overall health. As a dental hygienist, she values the opportunity to build meaningful connections with patients, educate them on proper oral care, and contribute to their long-term well-being.
Outside the office, Bailey loves spending time outdoors with her husband, Drake, and their two German Shepherds, Appa and Vail. Whether they’re traveling or just enjoying time with family, quality moments together are what she values most. If she’s got the aux cord, you can count on something from the '80s to be playing.
Jordan
Registered Dental Hygienist
As a dental hygienist, Jordan loves getting to know new people and finds real satisfaction in helping patients leave with a cleaner, healthier smile. Building connections while making a difference is what keeps her excited to come to work every day.
A small-town Iowa native, Jordan thrives in the beautiful chaos of raising three wild kiddos in a country home where DIY projects and crafting meet dirt bikes and outdoor adventures. She’s always chasing a new hobby, hosting a get-together, or sneaking off to Target for a little peace and quiet. Her goal? To make everyday moments a little more creative — and a lot more fun.
As for music? Definitely not Andrew’s playlist. Think country-pop remixes that make you want to be on a boat with friends, soaking up the sun with a cooler full of cold drinks. 🤌🏼
Nichole
Registered Dental Hygienist
Nichole is passionate about providing high-quality, personalized care to every patient. Her goal is to make sure everyone who sits in her chair feels comfortable, cared for, and leaves just a little better than when they arrived.
In her free time, Nichole enjoys being with family, getting lost in a good book, or soaking up the outdoors. Her music taste depends on the mood, but country tends to be her go-to vibe.
Meredith
Registered Dental Assistant
Meredith, a University of Dubuque graduate and Registered Dental Assistant, is dedicated to helping patients feel at ease with their dental needs. She takes pride in educating others and helping them gain confidence in their smiles.
When she’s not in the office, Meredith loves staying active outdoors, whether she’s hiking, kayaking, or running around with her nieces and nephew. She also enjoys winding down with a good movie, book, or puzzle. As for music, while she enjoys a variety of genres, Fleetwood Mac is her go-to favorite.
Nancy Yowell
Office Manager
Nancy didn’t plan on a career in dentistry, but sometimes life lands you right where you're supposed to be. Over the years, she’s come to value the relationships built through the work and the energy of being part of a dedicated, supportive team.
Outside the office, Nancy is always on the move — whether it’s early-morning runs with friends (yes, even at 5:30am!) or spending time with her favorite people: her family. With adult kids who still love to hang out, she cherishes every game night, hike, and shared meal. As for music, give her anything from the '70s or '80s — especially John Denver — and she’s in her happy place.
